The End of the Beginning Meets the Beginning of Forever

Technically the beginning is over. Road trip #1 has been completed for almost a month now, and we’re getting ready for round two (but with some experience under our belts and a lot more ideas to execute). The worst is over already (or at least that’s what I tell myself now so that I’m never discouraged to continue…). We’ve made our careless mistakes on the last trip, but this time we have a month to plan instead of just a week or so. No more relying on other people to do what we need, no more getting food in advance that we’ll never eat, no more running over medians, and no more getting lost- we just can’t afford it with these ridiculous gas prices.

I’m pretty excited right now. I may not show it on the outside or sound like it when I type in this here blog, but on the inside I’m jumping for joy and dying of anticipation. Music, photography, and writing are my life, so making them my career would be ideal. I plan to follow through with these dreams, and I’m happy to be here sharing my progress with whoever reads this. Consider this to be a behind-the-scenes of two girls making their dreams come true (or just two girls getting really lucky this summer… but for my sake, let’s go with that first option).

Now, I’m not so good with ending blogs, so I’ll let this be more of a “To Be Continued…” as we’ll be updating when it comes time to begin journey #2.
